Bryan Jones brings listeners another uplifting record with his latest release under his newest solo project Wave Point. “Passion”, which Jones described as a “Kerri Chandler-like track on acid” is available on all platforms on April 23.
Acting as the fifth track under the new epithet, “Passion” meets ears with mellow, filtered pads. Leading into the drop, Jones creates the perfect amount of tension to make for an energetic release of grooving drums, modulated organs, a soulful, inspiring vocal and layers of silky synth sounds.
As is evident from the four previous releases under Wave Point, Jones’ knack for masterful production and next level sound design is obvious. Each track released under the new moniker stands true to this new deep disco-house vibe he’s been creating since parting ways from his previous project as half of Golf Clap.
